Ready Or Not Here It Comes

Yep, it's getting closer to that time for my oldest to start kindergarten and my baby (4) is not far behind. We invested in a home school program to start them on because we want to give them every advantage possible and they are already smart as can be anyway.

Needless to say as much as I love to watch them grow and learn and have so much fun while they are getting this knowledge and learning more and more everyday I can honestly say I'm not ready for them to grow up and start in on this new journey, but as the title says, ready or not here it comes.

Both my girls love learning and can't wait to be in school and they are really loving the new home school program and I know this of course is all good for them but again I'm just not ready lol

I remember it just like i was yesterday for each of them being born and holding them for the first time and just wanted that moment to last forever. It was love at first sight and definitely a love like no other love I've ever felt in my life.

I've watched them grow and learn over the years and it just amazes me what they have learned and continue to learn even before their "school days."

I absolutely love watching them play together and how they teach one another new things. It really bring me joy and happiness to see this. They do so well together and they truly are best friends.

School was always harder for me because I had learning disabilities and I was almost to the point that I didn't really want to go but I knew I had to and now I'm glad I did.

Education is so important and I've even since gone back to school to get my Associates so I'm glad to see them as such an early age loving to learn and wanting more and more knowledge. It really puts that warm feeling in my heart to see them so happy about it.

I just can't believe even still how fast there years have gone and the fact that this new mile stone is fast approaching. I guess no mater how much I am not ready or how much I think I don't like it, I still better prepare myself as best I can and try to be ready because indeed ready or not here it comes.

I love Being A Wife & Mommy

To me there is nothing in the world like being a Wife and Mother. Is it crazy and a hectic at time? Yes but it would be boring if there was nothing to it. I love having a husband to share this journey with and I love having children to watch and help as they grow.

As you may have read in previous post not only am I a Wife and Mother I am a collage student, but hey that to me make it all the more interesting because remember, I don't like boring. lol

As a wife and Mother I'm on call 24/7. As the saying goes " A man's work is from sun to sun, but a woman's work is never done" This is so true. There is house work to be done, laundry, tending to the kids, making time for hubby, doing home work, and so much much. I won't complain though because its everything I want and more.

As you have seen in other posts I Just started my Mary Kay business and I love it. I love being able to help other women feel empowered, beautiful and helping them better themselves and be able to help their families.

If you know me at all you know that I am a passionate person and I love to help others whenever I can  and it just warms my heart to be able to do whatever I can for others.

I am a very nurturing person, but then again that goes back to the Mothering state.

Growing up all I ever really wanted to be was a Wife and Mother. I flip flopped back and forth on a career path but my mind was set on the fact that I someday wanted to be a Wife and Mother. This dream began to come true when I was married in 2006 to the love of my life and the second part followed shortly after in that same here when my first child was born.

I tell ya again there is just nothing like the feeling you get from being a Wife and Mother. It truly is really something special. I never in a million years thought I could love some one as much as I do my Husband and Children. I know its a totally different type of love than that you have for the rest of your family but to me it was just truly amazing and I am so blessed to have such a wonderful Husband and Children.

Everything I do I do for them and I wouldn't trade what I have with them for anything in the world. I love them so very very much!

Much Love,

Bad Attitude Or Attitude Of Gratitude?

I have learned through out my life that you can have attitude or you can have gratitude, and the choice it ultimately up to you. I choose to have gratitude because attitude just doesn't get you you anywhere in life in my opinion.

There are bad attitudes and attitudes of gratitude and there is definitely a big difference.

It can be so easy to be mad about something or hurt (tender hearted) very easily and it turn into a big ordeal that cause a lot of problems in your life. You have to learn what to let go of and what to old on too. You have to release the things in your life that you have no control over and focus on the things that you do have control over.

Once you determine what these things are review them over and over again and really feel them with all of your being and be excited about them.

For me I have so much to be grateful for and I am very grateful indeed. I have pretty good health and have come so far in life considering I wasn't suppose to live and the good Lord saw fit to bring me through that trail. I have a wonderful husband, wonderful children and a wonderful family all the way around. I am also grateful for the many wonderful relationships that have opened up throughout my life. I'm grateful that my husband is so hard working and does whatever he has to do to provide for our family. These are just a few of the many, many, many things I am grateful for in my life.

Have there been times I've let my attitude get the best of me? Yes, but again it doesn't get you anywhere and it doesn't help anything. I have learn with those experiences that its so important to think before you speak and to know that once you say something you can only apologize but you can never take it back, and in some chances you never get that chance to say I'm sorry.

So many people in this world are less fortunate and so for me being grateful for the things I do have is so important because I know that it could be worse.

Gratitude is a beautiful thing and is much more worth your time and energy than a bad attitude.

So as you go through your day and look at things from perhaps a new perspective, will you choose to have a bad attitude or an attitude of gratitude?

Blessings,

Organization For Busy Moms And Wives With A Home Business

The title alone give us something to think bout, and I but when this thought first came to mind we all wen hmmmmm? Am I right? The thought of trying to keep a business organized while being a busy mom can be rather scary or at least it was for me.

You have to find that balance and scheduling is everything. You have to keep a consistent schedule and set things up with a game plan and stick to it.

Life has a funny way of getting in the way sometimes and it's a lot harder (at least for me) to bounce back if you are not prepared to the best of your ability. Don't get me wrong I understand you can't control every situation because we are not perfect, but I believe as Mothers, Wives, and business owners organization is even more important for us than those who just play a sole role because of the simple fact that life ca be so hectic.

There is nothing worse than trying to run a house hold, a business and trying to keep your sanity if your not organized and better yet if your not organized its just not going to happen. There are no two ways about it.

Take me for example, I'm a Mother of two little girls ages 6 and almost 4 (almost 5) and on top of that I have my home business AND I just finished going to school for my associates. There is no way on Gods green earth that I could manage the family, the school work, the business and everything else that life might decide to through at me if I'm not organized to the best of my ability. It just wouldn't be possible.

Making time for organization is going to be a major and important key in your life to help you run things as smooth as possible. You don't have to be a business owner to need good organization because truth be told it's needed no matter what you do in life. You must must must make time for organization. I can not stress that enough.

So let me ask you this, what are you doing to maximize your organization for your business or family and what tips can you share that may help others be able to achieve this?
