Bad Attitude Or Attitude Of Gratitude?

I have learned through out my life that you can have attitude or you can have gratitude, and the choice it ultimately up to you. I choose to have gratitude because attitude just doesn't get you you anywhere in life in my opinion.

There are bad attitudes and attitudes of gratitude and there is definitely a big difference.

It can be so easy to be mad about something or hurt (tender hearted) very easily and it turn into a big ordeal that cause a lot of problems in your life. You have to learn what to let go of and what to old on too. You have to release the things in your life that you have no control over and focus on the things that you do have control over.

Once you determine what these things are review them over and over again and really feel them with all of your being and be excited about them.

For me I have so much to be grateful for and I am very grateful indeed. I have pretty good health and have come so far in life considering I wasn't suppose to live and the good Lord saw fit to bring me through that trail. I have a wonderful husband, wonderful children and a wonderful family all the way around. I am also grateful for the many wonderful relationships that have opened up throughout my life. I'm grateful that my husband is so hard working and does whatever he has to do to provide for our family. These are just a few of the many, many, many things I am grateful for in my life.

Have there been times I've let my attitude get the best of me? Yes, but again it doesn't get you anywhere and it doesn't help anything. I have learn with those experiences that its so important to think before you speak and to know that once you say something you can only apologize but you can never take it back, and in some chances you never get that chance to say I'm sorry.

So many people in this world are less fortunate and so for me being grateful for the things I do have is so important because I know that it could be worse.

Gratitude is a beautiful thing and is much more worth your time and energy than a bad attitude.

So as you go through your day and look at things from perhaps a new perspective, will you choose to have a bad attitude or an attitude of gratitude?

Blessings,
Nikki Ford
